A beloved early-season tradition hosted by Evergreen Trail Runs, the Lord Hill Trail Run marks its 20+ years in the running. Located in Lord Hill Regional Park in Snohomish, WA, this race offers lush singletrack, muddy hills, and the iconic “Oh Lord!” climb. Aid Stations
The course is supported with well-stocked aid stations offering hydration, snacks, and warm food options for longer distances. Volunteers keep spirits high and help runners push through muddy miles. Aid stations are positioned to provide steady support throughout the loops.
10M course has an aid station at 4.5 miles
20M course has aid stations at 4.5, 10, and 14.5 miles
50K course has aid stations at 4.5, 10, 14.5, 20, and 24.5 miles
Logistics
Schedule
Race weekend starts early with check-in and bib pickup at 6:30AM. Pre-race briefings are held five minutes before each start time. Race day is full of excitement, with multiple distances rolling out between 8:00AM and noon, including a free kids race as part of the Woodland Speeders program. Cutoffs are enforced in the afternoon, with the course closing at 5:00PM sharp.
Bib Pickup
Bib pickup begins on race morning at 6:30AM at the start/finish area.
Drop Bags
Runners in the 20M and 50K distances may leave drop bags at the designated Lap Aid Station. Bags must be labeled with the runner’s name and bib number. Any bags left behind will be donated.
Crew & Pacers
Crew and visitors are welcome at Lord Hill. Shuttles are available for families of 5K and 10M runners, while 20M and 50K participants may park on-site. All visitors must respect the trails, other park users, and race staff directions.
Volunteers
Swag & Medals
Every finisher receives a custom, handmade wooden coaster award crafted using solar power in Anacortes, Washington. Participants can also choose Trees Not Tees, planting a tree in place of a shirt to support sustainability.
Getting There
The closest major airport is Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, approximately 50 minutes away. Everett’s Paine Field Airport is also nearby, only 20 minutes from Snohomish.
Parking
Due to limited parking, 5K and 10M runners must park at Monroe High School, 17001 Tester Rd, Monroe, WA 98272, and use the free shuttle. Only 20M and 50K runners are permitted to park at the start/finish area.
Lodging
Nearby lodging options include hotels in Monroe and Everett. Snohomish also has local inns and short-term rentals for those looking to stay closer to the race start.

Requirements
This race welcomes runners of all levels, but participants should be prepared for challenging climbs, muddy terrain, and winter trail conditions. Strong trail shoes are highly recommended.
Mandatory Gear
Runners are required to bring their own refillable cup or bottle for hydration.

Race Policies
Kid & Youth Policy
Kids are welcome to participate in the Woodland Speeders races, which are free and about 1K long. The course has minimal elevation gain and is designed for fun and safety. Youth runners under 24 years old also receive 20 percent off registration for all Evergreen Trail Runs events.
Charity & Beneficiary
Evergreen Trail Runs proudly supports the Washington Trails Association, helping to maintain and protect trails across the region. Runners can also opt into Trees Not Tees, planting a tree instead of receiving a race shirt.
Land Acknowledgement
Lord Hill takes place on the traditional lands of the Snohomish, Tulalip, and Coast Salish peoples. We honor their stewardship of these lands since time immemorial and are grateful to run in their footsteps.

Evergreen Trail Runs is a Pacific Northwest-based trail racing organization dedicated to creating inclusive, community-oriented events across Western Washington. Founded in 2010 by Roger Michel and Yumay Chang, Evergreen began with a vision to connect runners with the region’s rich network of trails. Now a part of Orca Running, Evergreen Trail Runs continues to thrive under the leadership of Co-Owners Katie Warren, Porter Bratten, and Ashley Lee.
