Overview
Larrabee Lakes, hosted by Evergreen Trail Runs, takes place in the iconic landscape of Larrabee State Park near Bellingham, WA. With distances for every runner, the course flows through mossy forests, past quiet alpine lakes, and along rocky ridgelines shaped by time and tectonics.
This race offers a unique blend of runnable trails and steep, technical climbs. Whether you're chasing vert or a beautiful summer adventure, you'll find it here; and you'll go home with a solar-powered, handmade award that’s just as memorable as the course itself.
Course
Starts and ends at Fairhaven Park, just south of Bellingham
Begins with rolling terrain and climbs on the Interurban Trail into Larrabee State Park
12K is a short lollipop up to the ridge and back
25K features Lost Lake and Ridge Trail descent
50K includes extended loops past Cedar Lake, Lost Lake, and Fragrance Lake, with climbs up Cleator Road and Two Dollar Trail
Expect steep, rugged, rocky, and forested sections
Trails are open to hikers, bikers, and equestrians; be alert and courteous

Drop bags for 50K runners at mile 18 Interurban Aid Station (20L max)

Trails are open to public users; trail etiquette is required
Course cutoff: 5:00pm for all runners

About Evergreen Trail Runs
Evergreen Trail Runs is a Pacific Northwest-based trail racing organization dedicated to creating inclusive, community-oriented events across Western Washington. Founded in 2010 by Roger Michel and Yumay Chang, Evergreen began with a vision to connect runners with the region’s rich network of trails. Now a part of Orca Running, Evergreen Trail Runs continues to thrive under the leadership of Co-Owners Katie Warren, Porter Bratten, and Ashley Lee.
What sets Evergreen apart is its approachable and friendly atmosphere, along with its deep respect for the natural environment.
