Twilight at the Bay invites you to soak in the golden hour while running scenic loops along the breathtaking Chambers Bay Trail. This late-summer event offers a rare opportunity to race in the evening, just as the sun begins to set over Puget Sound. With events for all levels—5K, 10K, and Half Marathon—you’ll experience the magic of a Pacific Northwest summer evening with every step.
Whether you’re chasing a personal best or just enjoying the panoramic views, the race combines a smooth paved trail, festive community energy, and a stunning waterfront backdrop. Join the celebration and stay after for food, drinks, and a lively post-race gathering.

Looped course on the Chambers Bay paved trail in University Place, WA
Clockwise direction on wide, undulating terrain
Approximately 236 feet of gain per 5K loop
Two aid stations: one at mile 1.7 and one at the Start/Finish area

Absolutely no littering; strict zero-tolerance policy
No dogs allowed (USATF regulations)
Strollers allowed, but must start behind competitive runners
