A flat and festive fall 5K & 10K in support of Lake Sammamish's endangered Kokanee salmon

Overview

Celebrate the turning of the leaves with a flat and friendly race at Lake Sammamish State Park. This fast 5K loop course mixes paved paths and grassy trails and is perfect for both runners and walkers. Proceeds support the Kokanee salmon recovery efforts led by the Three Rivers Chapter of Trout Unlimited. The 10K option completes the loop twice.

Race Policies

  • No dogs allowed on course (USATF sanctioned)

  • Participants are responsible for their own safety

  • Headphones allowed at low volume only

  • Courteous passing required on narrow paths

  • Trails remain open to the public during the event

  • Cell phones recommended for safety

  • Emergency services can be reached via 9-1-1; limited staff medical support available

  • Youth Discount: $10 off for runners under 20

  • Registration includes a limited edition T-shirt if registering by Oct 7

  • Online registration closes on Thursday, October 16 at 11:59 PM

  • Day-of registration available (cash, card, or check)
