Overview
Little Backyard Adventure is a fun and challenging endurance trail event held in the heart of Olympia at L.B.A. Park. Celebrating the lush neighborhood forest preserved by the city, this race invites runners of all levels to loop through twisting singletrack trails under a canopy of ferns and moss. Whether you go for one loop or push for 12 hours, you’ll find a supportive, festive, and community-focused race experience.

Cupless event; bring your own cup or purchase one at pickup
Zero-waste race with recycling and composting
Trails open to the public; be courteous to other users
No DNFs; complete as many loops as you’d like
Race packets available for pickup starting at 7:00 AM on race day
Land Acknowledgement
This event takes place on the traditional lands of the Steh-Chass people, a band of the Squaxin Island Tribe. We honor the Indigenous communities who have stewarded these forests since time immemorial and acknowledge their enduring presence and contributions.
