About Alaska Mountain Runners
Alaska Mountain Runners (AMR) is the central hub for mountain running in Alaska, promoting a vibrant community of trail and peak runners since 1999. Based in Anchorage, AMR is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the sport of mountain running while fostering deep respect for the rugged and awe-inspiring Alaskan landscape.
