Named after the famously wobbly Tacoma Narrows Bridge, Galloping Gertie is a fun and scenic race that lets runners traverse the iconic span between Gig Harbor and Tacoma, WA. With stunning views of the Puget Sound, Mount Rainier, and the Olympic Mountains, this unique experience offers a Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. Getting There

  • Tacoma Narrows Airport

  • On-site parking at airport and along 26th Ave NW and Stone Dr NW

  • Participants must park on dirt shoulders only (not paved surfaces)

  • DO NOT park on race route section of 26th Ave NW between the Airport Gate and Stone Dr

  • Carpooling is strongly encouraged

  • Parking monitors will assist on race day
