City to Sky Ultra

The City to Sky Ultra is Missoula’s showcase of singletrack bliss, where mountain summits and sweeping ridgelines connect downtown trails to the sky-high wilderness. Runners tackle smooth, flowy dirt with just a hint of pavement before diving into miles of conservation land and open space.

The 50K is a mountain lover’s dream, climbing over 8,000 feet across multiple peaks while tracing the dramatic Pattee Creek watershed. The 25K gives runners a taste of the high country on the House of Sky Ridgeline Trail, serving up the same jaw-dropping views in half the distance. Whether racing, crewing, or cheering from town, this event brings the trail community together under Montana’s legendary big skies.
