Seattle’s toughest Halloween trail party!
Overview
This is Seattle’s most festive and masochistic trail event. Runners take on a 1.93-mile loop in scenic Carkeek Park, with 436 feet of elevation gain per loop (yes, per loop!). It’s tough, it’s technical, it’s stunning—and it’s full of Halloween costumes, candy, and endless cheer.
Whether you’re chasing distance PRs, training for a big ultra, or just in it for the camaraderie and spooky fun, Carkeek delivers. Expect steep climbs, rooty singletrack, endless fall color, and the best aid station vibe in the Northwest.

About Endless Trails
Endless Trails is more than just a race organizer; it’s a Northwest-based 501(c)3 non-profit rooted in stewardship, sustainability, and community. Founded by trail lovers Matt and Kerri in 2013, Endless Trails operates on a mission to preserve wild places for future generations through trail work, education, advocacy, and adventure. Their race series doubles as fundraisers for conservation efforts, and they don’t shy away from tough, rugged courses that leave lasting impressions.
