Held in the iconic Washington Grizzly Stadium, this event brings together seasoned athletes, first-time challengers, kids, and adaptive athletes to compete side by side in the name of health, camaraderie, and fun.
What sets the ZooTown Challenge apart is its deep community roots. This is a race built for Missoula by Missoula, with all net proceeds going directly to Opportunity Resources, a nonprofit that supports individuals with disabilities in living fuller, more independent lives. Whether you come to run, cheer, or volunteer, you’ll leave inspired by the energy, support, and heart this event creates every year.
Volunteering
Volunteers are the backbone of the ZooTown Challenge, and there are many opportunities to get involved. From helping with setup and obstacle management to cheering on racers and providing post-race support, volunteers ensure the event runs smoothly.
