Overview
Crown Stub 100 blends towering forests, scenic rail trails, and Pacific Northwest hospitality into a fast, crew-friendly 100-mile course at Stub Stewart State Park — designed to work as a strong option for both first-time and experienced 100-mile finishers. The fastest male and female finishers are crowned King and Queen of Stub and share a Royal Purse funded by a 10% "Royal Tax" collected from every registration. Every finisher earns a buckle.
Course
A double out-and-back built from the Banks Vernonia State Trail (mostly asphalt), the Crown Zellerbach Trail (mostly hard-packed gravel), and roughly 10% singletrack within Stub Stewart State Park itself. The course heads north on the Banks Vernonia Trail, circles Vernonia Lake, then joins the Crown Z Trail heading east for roughly 20 miles before turning around just short of Scappoose. Runners retrace the Crown Z and Banks Vernonia trails back to Stub Stewart (Stubby AS, mile 72), continue south on the Banks Vernonia Trail 10 more miles to a turnaround in Banks, then return to Stubby AS (mile 92) before a final loop of the 6.5-mile Stub Stewart Trail Challenge course to the finish.

13 aid station hits across the double out-and-back, with 25+ crew access points along the Banks Vernonia and Crown Zellerbach trails.
