Fun timed loop race in Elijah Bristow State Park
Overview
The Bristow 24/12/6 Run is more than just a timed race — it’s a chance to test your endurance against the clock, not the course. Tucked away in Elijah Bristow State Park, only 30 minutes from Eugene, Oregon, this race invites runners of every level to see how far they can go on a flat, forgiving loop with an aid station waiting at the end of every mile.
The energy at Bristow is electric: music, hot food, cheering crews, and a community of runners who thrive on encouragement. Whether you’re chasing a buckle, logging your first ultra miles, or joining the brand-new 12 Hour Night Relay, you’ll find yourself carried by the camaraderie of this festive summer weekend.
Course
The Bristow course is a 1.05M loop through Elijah Bristow State Park. Almost entirely dirt trail with just a short paved section near the start and aid station, the loop is flat and friendly, making it the perfect playground to rack up serious mileage. Expect gentle terrain, wide paths, and the occasional horse encounter — a true Oregon park experience. With music, food, and support at the aid station every lap, runners have everything they need right at their fingertips.
The Night Relay adds an extra thrill, letting teams of three trade off loops under the stars. Lights, laughter, and shared grit create a festival-like atmosphere that keeps spirits high until sunrise.
