Test your endurance and elevation skills at the Blanchard Beast, a challenging 10-mile trail race through the scenic and rugged trails of Blanchard State Forest. With over 2,000 feet of elevation gain, technical terrain, and sweeping views from the Samish Overlook, this race is perfect for runners looking for something between a 10K and half marathon—or a great prep for an ultra.

The Bellingham Distance Project (BDP) is a post-collegiate competitive training and racing team based in Bellingham, Washington. Built on the values of teamwork, dedication, and growth, BDP provides a supportive environment for men and women looking to continue their athletic development beyond the college level.
The team competes across track, road, and trail disciplines, reflecting the diverse terrain and race culture of the Pacific Northwest.
