Since 1969, Southern Oregon Runners have been more than a club—they’re a community. From their first Fourth of July 10-miler to hosting some of Oregon’s oldest races like Pioneer and Stage Coach, they’ve been keeping the running spirit alive for over 50 years.
This volunteer-powered, not-for-profit club is all about giving back. Race proceeds support local youth running programs, provide shoes for students, and fund scholarships that have helped hundreds of young runners chase their dreams. Whether you’re just lacing up your first pair of shoes or chasing a personal best, the Southern Oregon Runners welcome you with camaraderie, encouragement, and a friendly kick in the pants when you need it.
They’re running for the love of the sport, for the community, and for every runner who comes after them.
