Sport Yukon is a cornerstone of athletic development and community engagement across the Yukon Territory. As a non-governmental organization, Sport Yukon exists to cultivate a vibrant, supportive, inclusive, and coordinated sport community for every Yukoner. Through partnerships, advocacy, and programming, the organization plays a pivotal role in helping local athletes, coaches, teams, and volunteers reach their full potential.

Serving as a hub for Yukon Sport Governing Bodies, clubs, associations, and recreational organizations, Sport Yukon coordinates initiatives that strengthen capacity, enhance event delivery, and build lasting infrastructure for sport and wellness in the North. With a clear strategic direction laid out in their 2023–2026 Strategic Plan and an annual Impact Report that highlights their contributions, Sport Yukon demonstrates transparency, vision, and action in growing Yukon’s sport landscape.

Whether it’s hosting iconic local races, managing volunteer networks, or supporting young athletes on the national stage, Sport Yukon is the engine behind much of the territory’s sport success—uniting people through play, perseverance, and pride.
